One of the better metronomes, but lacks critical features....
This is a well-thought-out app, and I appreciate its uncluttered design.
I commend the developer for adding tap-tempo in v1.1, however, Im disappointed that tempi are rounded to the nearest whole number. I often have to tempo-match preexisting material, and rounded tempi are too imprecise. So Id love an option (via a settings button, perhaps) for tempi to be calculated to two decimal points (e.g., 95.37 BPM). For those who dont need or want that, decimals would never have to be seen.
I also wish there were optional click sounds (such as a Urei-type click). The current sound is shrill and difficult to use at length.
For other uses, I love the inclusion of buttons for adjusting the tempo, instead of just a slider. But Id love to be able to tap and hold a button for continuous adjustment until released.
Finally, I love the feature called "tuner" -- except its not a tuner! its an electronic pitch pipe. :-) A tuner "listens" to a note and lets the user know, graphically, whether the note is in tune or not, allowing him or her to adjust the instrument. This app plays audible pitches -- which is very useful! But I was unaware that it does so, because the word "tuner" is misleading.
