Most comprehensive iPhone metronome out there.
Most comprehensive iPhone metronome out there.
I will admit that this metronome app has some cool features, like the tap tempo button, and seems like a golden app at first. Unfortunately, not only does it fail to maintain a constant tempo of any speed over any length of time, but the faster you set the tempo to, the worse the failures get. This is particularly evident when my iphone goes into screenlock mode, at which point it could scarcely be called a metronome in any context, due to the endless mistakes. I am a percussionist, and as such, subdivision is key for players like me. That being said, this app is CERTAINLY not worth the $2 i spent on it. it cant keep tempo, you cant select different octaves for the tuning option, and all things considered, the tap tempo button is not only frustrating to use, it is quite a frivolous feature.
Waste of money. Cant hear click when practicing piano.
When the screen locks the program cant keep a contant tempo. If you are practicing a song it becomes completly useless unless your song is 30 seconds long.
User friendly etc but thinking about the fundamentals it is inaccurate in some settings, one can easily hear the irregular beat. The first priority should be accuracy.
Well-thought out, but not accurate. One can hear the tempo wavering. Any useful metronome needs to be dead-on accurate.
This has been said but this app is very inconsistent in its meter. Especially if the iPhone goes into sleep mode. It would be nice if this coils fixed. There hasnt been an update to this app since I downloaded it in January. Might be time to give some attention to these inconsistencies.
the metronome part of the app works really good through earbuds or through the speaker - but dont be fooled! the tuner does not actually tune your instrument, it just plays the correct pitch for a note out loud (its kind of annoying).
This metronome dosent live up to its name, on the new iPod touch, the metronome is completely inconsistant, and if my piano is tuned the sound(not tuner, pitch) is incorrect.
after 10+ minutes of use, it starts to "gallop", so-to-speak. i still wouldnt replace my trusty metronome with it.
The tuner sound is plenty loud, but I couldnt get the metronome to produce any sound at all.
Sitting down to practice and no sound at all from the metronome. Totally useless
Doesnt keep a beat. Simple as that!
After a few seconds the metronome keeps changing tempo, dont waste your 3 dollars on this.
Seems good but once your phone goes to screen lock it is completely uneven and messes you up
